If you’re not already planning to travel abroad beforehand, we suggest arriving in Italy by Saturday, October 4th and spending the weekend exploring & adjusting to the timezone. Check-in for those staying at our accommodations will be mid-day on Monday, October 6th. Exact details about the check-in time and assigned accommodations will be shared closer to the wedding.

You’re totally free to pick your own accommodations – channel your inner travel agent! Our venue is located at Via Montebenichi, 35, 52021 Bucine AR, Italy. If you decide to book your own accommodations, we suggest renting a car in order to get to our wedding events as our villa is in the countryside and Ubers/Taxis are not as easily accessible.

If you’re opting into our accommodations, no rental car is needed, but it’s a fun option if you want to explore Tuscany like a local. If you’re booking accommodations through us, we will handle transportation from your villa / hotel to our venue for the wedding events each day. For those without planned transportation, we will be providing a shuttle to Florence on Thursday, October 9th at checkout. Beyond that, you’re on your own! October in Tuscany often brings mild, lovely weather (59°F to 72°F). For the welcome party, dress in cocktail attire. Think dresses or jumpsuits for girls, and slacks with a button-down for boys. For our big day, please dress in formal attire. Make sure to bring a light jacket or wrap for the evenings as our ceremony and reception will be outside (weather permitting). For the pool party, anything is welcome. We suggest wearing a bathing suit with a cover up, and bringing something a bit warmer to throw on in case of inclement weather.

If you choose to stay with us, you will be provided complimentary breakfast each day. As part of our wedding events, meals will be provided for dinner on Monday & Tuesday, and lunch on Wednesday. For any meals we aren’t catering, you can enjoy the restaurants on-site.

We absolutely adore your little ones! However, this celebration is adults-only. Don’t let this deter you from turning this into a family vacation, though! One way to get the best of both worlds is to rent an Airbnb or hotel nearby and bring family along who can watch your kiddos while you attend our wedding events.

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. We promise, everyone is awesome and new friendships await! We appreciate your understanding.

While the week will be packed with planned fun, there will still be time to explore! Sip your way through a wine tasting, lounge by the pool, or take a short 30-minute drive to the charming town of Siena. Fun fact: Siena is car-free, so you’ll stroll its historic streets just like the locals do!
